Cathy is an experienced, award-winning communications consultant and trainer based in Cork. With over 15 years of experience across Ireland, the UK and Australia, she helps leaders and brands communicate with clarity and impact.

Cathy began her career in broadcasting, working with TV3 (now Virgin Media) in Ireland and Foxtel in Australia, where she developed a deep understanding of storytelling, audience engagement and content strategy. She later moved into corporate communications and marketing, holding senior roles at Sky UK, where she led C-suite digital communications with a focus on LinkedIn, and major corporate and consumer campaigns. Cathy also served as Digital Director in top Irish communications agency Drury, delivering strategic communications and high-profile campaigns for a wide range of clients. She has spoken at industry conferences such as Social Media Dublin and Social Media Belfast, and is an experienced MC.

In 2024, she launched her own consultancy, supporting private and public sector clients with communications, marketing, and PR.

Alongside her consulting work, Cathy co-hosts The Cinemile, a multi-award-winning and chart-topping film podcast, and serves on the board of the Cork International Film Festival. She is also a council member of the Marketing Society of Ireland.

Awards and accolades include a British Podcast Award, an Irish Podcast Award, a Public Relations Institute of Ireland Award, and a place on DMG Media’s “40 Under 40” list, which celebrates Ireland’s top PR professionals. Cathy has contributed to national media including an opinion piece in The Irish Independent on the impact of Twitter’s verification changes for Irish businesses.

Cathy holds a BA from UCC and an MA from DCU. She has also completed a Professional Diploma in Diversity, Equity, Belonging & Inclusion from the UCD Academy, underscoring her commitment to fostering inclusive leadership and advancing corporate social responsibility.
